and in English:
the memory of color depends on the day
Klare’s mixed media work presents a contemporary aesthetic exploring abstraction, precision, geometry, materiality, and process, evoking a material presence or conceptual quality that can be often reminiscent of textiles or thread.
Her current oeuvre consists of minimalist compositions investigating past memories of cloth and textile patterns and previous art travels. Line and saturated hues are built up and broken down to support a desire to form and re-shape color memories.

Abstract Project is associated with Réalitiés Nouvelles, an artist society (Salon) that artist Sonia Delaunay set up in 1939 along with other artists working in an abstract style. In 1946 the Salon was officially established as a successor to Abstraction-Création by Fredo Sidès, and its board members included Jean Arp, Sonia Delaunay and Albert Gleizes.

After the interruption of the Second World War it was re-established in 1946 and it continues today. It provided in the post-war era the same focus for the purest tendencies in abstract art that Abstraction-Création had pre-war.
